Fucken lock them up!
Last week, a small town in the Niagara Region in Canada was devastated to learn of a local child being molested in her own home at night while her parents slept .
No it wasn’t a member of the family or other trusted adult, as one might be inclined to assume at that time of night inside the home.
It was a break in.
A cool, fall night; the house is in darkness at this time, as usual. A shadow slips up to the door and with swift and deadly accuracy defeats the locks and enters. He spies the target, a 3-year-old child (i am not aware of the gender so I’m going with girl) sleeping, pale innocent face glowing in a moonbeam falling gently across her bed. A dirty, oily hand reaches over her face and clamps down on the nose and mouth so the child can’t scream…
Now I’m not sure that is exactly what happened, I’m taking poetic license here. BUT the facts are the same. Daniel Senecal broke into the child’s home and - not molested, not diddled, not assaulted, RAPED, and raped so badly she was flown to an out of area children’s hospital.
All while the parent’s slept in their own home.
Daniel Senecal, 25, is a predator recidivist. In 2021, he was arrested for child sexual assault and sentenced to - get this - 18 months in jail. In that instance he was charged with sexual assault of a minor, and choking. And then he was released and four years later, he did it again, although who knows who may have been compromised in between and not reported it.
Why?
That is the question everyone in Niagara is asking.
Why did he get only 18 months? Every damned person on the planet who watches true crime knows a sexual predators’ crimes evolve over time, as they get more and more comfortable in their imagined infallibility. Letting him out after only 18 months for child sexual assault and choking is telling him what he is doing is not such a big deal, and he is feeling infallible as a result. So yes, his crime did escalate viciously this time around.
Finally figured it out? What did you figure out, dude? That you are a disgusting pile of shit no matter your ethnicity? Did you come up with a better way to terrorize and harm children? Is that what you figured out? Or did you figure out you can commit heinous and life altering crimes such as this and just get a slap on the wrist sentence with our justice system, so who cares! (He even looks like Epstein, no lie, guys!)
Mayor Frank Campion, of Welland, said it was a horrific act that was unfathomable and has committed to assisting police and seek action from both levels of government to ensure harsher sentences for these crimes.
CTV News said: “In a statement, a spokesman for Justice Minister Sean Fraser said legislation will be introduced this fall aimed at cracking down on violent and organized crime.
“We are working closely with the provinces and territories to reform bail and sentencing, so police and prosecutors have stronger tools to keep violent offenders off the streets,” said Jeremy Bellefeuille, director of communications with the ministry.”
Senecal was caught due to a nearby porch camera, or who knows what would have happened next?
Except for the violence of this act, Senecal is the poor man’s Jeffrey Epstein. The world is disgusted with Epstein, even if the papers are not released, everyone knows what he did and who he did it to, and no one is questioning that. Epstein is NOT alleged. But Epstein was allowed to carry on as long as he did, even with a past conviction for sexual assault, because he had money and power. Senecal was caught because he is a loser child rapist who sneaks around to do his worst, while Epstein was right out in the open. I don’t know which is worse? Or are they both equal? I think so. Crimes are the same, one hides behind the dark of night, one hides behind powerful people and large bank accounts.
That’s the difference between a rich criminal and a poor criminal. The mind set is the same. Putrid piles of rotting trash.
Senecal is due in court for a hearing September 10. I bet by then he has neatly tied his hair back, or cut it, and cleaned up his act to look spiffy do dah day. But no amount of clean up is going to wash away the evil inside this man, and men like this.
And I don’t know why it’s so hard to keep these guys in jail. Sexual assault is an unspeakable crime. An abominable act which I believe is at the top of heap of punishable crimes. Crimes of this nature should get some serious time right off the bat, and continued assessments because we know the proclivity to sexual assault and child sexual assault (pedophilia) cannot be therapy-ed out of someone. Once out, rest of life probation, no contact with children forever and ever, wearing a monitor for the rest of their life. Yes, the rest of their life, because the children harmed will carry their prison for the rest of their lives too.
Even measures like these will not keep them from their inner issues, but it may protect the innocents, and that’s the important thing. Right now, I think our justice system needs a good overhaul, and I think certain crimes should be reevaluated in terms of seriousness. Crimes against women and children is far more important than this guy having a belt around his ankle for life.
Epstein’s case flung open the secret curtains of his pedo ring revealing the Oz of his life: people with money, status, and means. Senecal’s act has triggered a huge community response, and perhaps the courts may make an example of Senecal this time. But what about the next time?
What about the next rapist?
